Within the scope of the Zero Waste Project carried out by the Mustafakemalpaşa Municipality in Bursa, the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring semester school trainings were completed.
With trainings, awareness raising on issues such as protection of natural assets, nature-friendly consumption habits, waste management and ” It was aimed for them to recognize the “Zero Waste” approach. Children were informed about how to reduce waste in their daily lives, how to consume less and how to utilize waste in different ways.
By asking them to share what they learned at the end of the training with the municipality by drawing a picture, the foundations of developing projects on zero waste were laid.

Mustafakemalpaşa Mayor Mehmet Kanar stated that the activities of the 1st Class Waste Collection Center and Compost Production Facility are continuing within the scope of the Zero Waste Regulation, and thanked the citizens and the students, who are the elders of the future, who contributed to the continuation of the project in a comprehensive and effective manner.
