Mardin Metropolitan Municipality visited the visually impaired people as part of the World White Cane Visually Impaired Awareness Day between January 7-14.
MARDIN (IGFA) – Mardin Governor and Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality In line with the instructions of Mahmut Demirtaş, the staff of the Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department and the Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services visited the visually impaired citizens in the city between January 7-14 due to the World White Cane Awareness Day.
The greetings of the Governor of Mardin and the Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Mahmut Demirtaş were conveyed during the visit to celebrate their days as well as the constant visits to keep their morale high and that they are not forgotten, they are not alone, they have a place in life at all times. While the teams took notes of the problems, problems, wishes and suggestions of the visually impaired citizens to be conveyed to the relevant authorities, they presented a vitally important foldable white cane for the visually impaired.
