“I know that teaching is a profession chosen with the heart”
{1 }Noting that education is one of the most basic needs of children, Minister of National Education Özer said, “I would like to emphasize at the beginning of my words that all necessary preparations have been made and all measures have been taken for this process, which is too important to be postponed any longer. I consider it my duty to express that we are working hard to make things easier for all of us in the difficult and sacred task that awaits us. In the difficult conditions we are in, we will have to be twice as careful and twice as responsible until life returns to its past normals. However, I know that teaching is a profession chosen with the heart. You have already taken on that responsibility from the very beginning in order to be a light in the lives of our children. Our children miss you and you miss our children. No matter how important steps we have taken in digital education; Distance education cannot be compared to the value of teaching by looking into the eyes of your students in a classroom.”
“We have prepared an education program that we believe will be very useful for you in order to manage the sensitive transition period ahead”
Face-to-face education Minister Özer pointed out that a training program has been prepared for the smooth management of the transition process and said:
“We have prepared a training program that we believe will be very useful for you in order to manage the sensitive transition process ahead. For three days, you will be given information on “Strengthening the Psychological Resilience After the Epidemic and Supporting the Adjustment of Students to School”, “Epidemic Disease Psychoeducation Programs” and “Taking Preventive Measures During the Covid-19 Epidemic Process”. I fully believe that you will not spare your support and cooperation in the next period and you will make an outstanding effort to help our children reach a bright future. I extend my sincere wishes for success to all of you.”
