In Bursa, Yıldırım Municipality initiated the “Domestic Waste Drug Collection Campaign” in order to destroy waste pesticides that pose a threat to the ecosystem and human health without harming the environment.
BURSA (İGFA) – Waste medicine collection boxes were placed in many pharmacies in the district by Yıldırım Municipality in order to protect the nature and human health.
Waste medicine collection boxes were placed in various pharmacies determined by Bursa Pharmacist Chamber to collect the medicines that have accumulated in the houses and have completed their life-cycle through pharmacies.
Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz stated that special collection equipment will be placed in the pharmacies determined in the campaign initiated for the protection of nature and the collection, transportation and disposal of waste drugs will be ensured, and in order to prevent unnecessary drug use and to destroy without harming the environment, citizens also asked them to support our collection campaign. {2nd}
