The managers, who gave a message of solidarity by visiting the newly opened Batman Butchers Association, stated that the small tradesmen who were negatively affected by the pandemic process should be protected. Stating that small tradesmen had to shut down their workplace for months due to the pandemic, Association Manager Hasan Tunç said, “Our tradesmen, who cannot pay their rent and debts due to their limited working hours, are crying blood. It is important to show solidarity in this process. Instead of giving messages and saying support to small tradesmen, we wanted to put this into practice. We wanted to raise awareness in this area. We are all in the same boat. As the shutters are closed, the economy of Batman will continue to suffer and our children and youth will be dragged towards unemployment. That’s why it’s important to protect small trades. Let’s do our shopping from our local craftsmen and producers in order to keep their doors open. ”
