Siirt University Rector Prof. Dr. With the project pioneered by Nihat Şındak, the university obtained its first patent with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, this time undertook the second invention within the Faculty of Medicine, and a “patent with examination” was registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
{3 } SİİRT (İGFA) – Siirt University Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat Şındak, one of the faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Lecturer Güneş Bolatlı and Dr. Lecturer Member Fatih Taş said that he has made a new invention for medical education.
Stating that his invention titled “Education Set Consisting of Smart Interactive Models and Application Program” received a “patent with examination” by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Şındak said, “This I think the model set will contribute a lot to the basic sciences of the Faculty of Medicine. In addition to the theoretical training of our students, they will also have the opportunity to see their practical training on models with textural, sensory and visual training.
Stating that the smart model will provide important contributions to students especially in basic sciences, Şındak said, “When you open the smart model, we can look at the histological values related to the tissue on the one hand. We can look at these microscopic features and read. On the other hand, when we look at the part where the same organ is divided into two, we can find the opportunity to see its anatomical structure. In addition, it will be possible to access anatomical information about the tissue with the weavings to be made in this model. We have previously obtained a patent for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and we will continue to make new contributions to local and national education with young and dynamic academics. ”
