In Ardahan, where snowfall and storms are effective, the municipality, Highways and Special Provincial Administration Teams started snow removal activities. In the city center, there were disruptions in transportation due to icing on the roads, while the visibility dropped to zero at the Ilgar Pass at 2 thousand 540 altitude on the Ardahan-Posof-Türkgözü highway and the Sahara Pass at 2 thousand 640 altitude on the Ardahan-Şavşat-Artvin highway. At the points where large vehicles are not allowed to pass, the authorities asked the drivers to be careful and cautious against adversities such as snow, ice and frost.
