Teams are carrying out demolition work within the scope of the July 15 Democracy Square Extension Project initiated by the Siirt Municipality. Approximately 4,500 square meters of additional area will be added to the existing square.
SİİRT (İGFA) – According to the statement made by Siirt Municipality regarding the 15 July Democracy Square Expansion Project, the existing green area will be rehabilitated. “It will contain sports areas such as basketball courts and skateboard ramps, and will support sports activities for children and youth in the city. There will also be a children’s playground and various urban furniture, which are lacking in the region. In addition to existing lecture theaters, new lecture theaters will be arranged. While the square will gain an aesthetic appearance with decorative lighting figures, security weaknesses will be reduced to a minimum with the increase in the level of illumination.
