Aksaray University student Sri Lankan Umar Hashim Fazlur Rahman received an honorable mention in the short film category at the International Students Culture and Art Competition.
AKSARAY (İGFA) – Federation of International Student Associations ( The “International Students Culture and Art Competition”, organized for the fourth time by UDEF) and supported by the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Civil Society Relations, has been completed. Participating in the competition in the short film category, Aksaray University (ASU) student Sri Lankan Umar Hashim Fazlur Rahman received the honorable mention.
ASU student Umar Hashim Fazlur Rahman, who participated in the short film category with the theme of “Unity” in three branches, short film, photography and painting, was awarded an honorable mention with his film “Everyone Different Everyone is Equal”. In the movie that Rahman shot at different venues in Aksaray city center, which is about people who are engaged in daily activities going to the mosque and coming side by side with the call for prayer, 12 amateur actors also took part. Rahman, who draws attention with his emotional frames and theme in his film, received his award from UDEF Vice President Orhan Pekçetin. {2nd}
