Sports Services Manager Hamide Ercan presented flowers to Coach Serap Aydeniz on behalf of the national team athletes at the welcoming ceremony held at Maril Resort Hotel in Didim district and accompanied by Didim Youth and Sports District Manager Ufuk Kurucu.
Aydin Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate of thanking coach Yılmaz Polat Director providing information about Ercan Parataekwondo National Team, Turkey contests since Teakvando Federation in 2009, the preparatory process and camps including physical disabilities with all the facilities in all areas He reminded that the taekwondo branch continues its activities.
Polat, who stated that the Federation has claimed this branch, said, “We need moral support as well as financial means. In the provinces and camps we visited, our governors and institution directors never made us feel their shortcomings. The disabled have always supported our taekwondo players and this increases the morale and motivation of our national team. There are six categories in the physically disabled taekwondo branch. We are the only country in the world to receive the Olympic category in all six categories. We will prepare well for the Olympics and represent the flag of our country in the best way possible with medals. ”
On the other hand, the Parataekwondo National Team, led by its coach İlhan Aşkın, will continue their camp work and preparations for the Paralympic Games in Didim until Sunday, February 28. { 2}
