With the support of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Orienteering City Championships under the age of 14 were held.
KOCAELİ (İGFA) – Kocaeli Youth and Sports with the support of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Kocaeli Under 14 Orienteering City Championships organized by the Provincial Directorate were held. Athletes tried to find the target points as soon as possible in the competitions held against time, which included finding directions with the help of maps.
46 athletes in 9 categories participated in the competitions organized in Kocaeli Fair area by taking COVID-19 pandemic measures into consideration. At the end of the competitions, Ayşe Hüma Bayrak (Değirmendere GSK) and Bilge Şahin (Gebze GSK) in the 14 age category (Licensed), Atakan Speed (Gebze GSK) in the 12 age category for boys, Defne Aydın (Gebze GSK) in the 10 age category for girls, Burak Uğurtay (Gebze) in the boys GSK), Sıla Ravza Taş (Değirmendere DSK) for girls, Serhat Kırıktaş (Değirmendere DSK) for boys and Bora Kılcı (Değirmendere DSK) for beginners in the open category.
