Mardin Governor Mahmut Demirtaş met with the neighborhood headmen in Dara Meeting Hall and listened to their problems and demands.
MARDİN (İGFA) – Mardin Governor Mahmut Demirtaş met with the neighborhood headmen’s delegation. The meeting in Dara Meeting Hall was attended by Midyat Şenköy Neighborhood Headman Hasan Şenköylü, Yemişli Neighborhood Headman Lokman Acar, Çaldere Neighborhood Headman Mehmet Emin Akan, Kızıltepe Akkoç Neighborhood Headman Ömer Faruk Işık, Yamanlar Neighborhood Headman Aşur Yaman, Küçük Ayrık Neighborhood Headman Ali Vural. village residents Ali Vural, Mehmet Mihdi and Şehmus Deniz also attended.
Stating that the neighborhood headmen act as a bridge between citizens and administrators, Governor Demirtaş stated that they are trying to respond to the demands and that their priority services are services for the benefit of the citizens. Pointing out that there is a need for roads and water, especially in rural neighborhoods in Mardin, Governor Demirtaş announced that they will build at least 600 kilometers of roads this year and that all group roads will be completed. Noting that they will also build at least one market place for each district, Governor Demirtaş said, “We are building a large national garden on 90 decares in our Artuklu district. Again, we are implementing a 500-vehicle parking garage project that we need in the center of our district. “We will use our resources in the most efficient way and make an effort for the satisfaction of our citizens.” {2nd}
