The Poetry Reading Contest organized by KAYMEK Inc. within the body of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and in which a total of 15 thousand 15 students, including 781 middle school and 234 high school students participated, was concluded.
{1 } KAYSERİ (İGFA) – Within the scope of the commemoration activities organized for the anniversary of Mehmet Akif Ersoy’s death, KAYMEK Youth Centers organized a poetry reading contest titled “Asım’s Nesli gives a voice to Akif’s Poems”. The most popular poems in 52 different poems of our national poet Mehmet Akif in the competition, 781 of which were in the secondary school category and 234 in the high school category, were the most voiced poems (277), Independence Anthem (96), Unity (87) and Cenk. (84)
As a result of the evaluation of the selection committee consisting of literature teachers, communication instructors, poet-writers, poetry commentators and administrators, Gökalp Müftüoğlu became the first in the secondary school category, Bedriye Malkoç became the second and Hasan Fındıkçı was the third, while Bilal Batın Alagöz, Feyyaz Eymen Atlı and Özge Şeref won the honorable mention.
In the high school category, Ahmet Talha Polat was the first, Sevimnaz Karataş was the second, Muhammet Düzgün was the third, while Abdallah Seyfedin Abdulgefur, Fatma Nur Höbek and Yusuf Hamza Özmeşe won the honorable mention.
Youngsters who are ranked and earned the right to award will receive their awards in the coming days.
