Housing sales in Aydın decreased by half to 521 thousand. Mortgage sales also fell by 75.8 percent.

Turkey Statistical Institute (TSI) has released Residential Sales of Statistics January 2021. In this context, according to the information provided by TÜİK Denizli Regional Directorate, housing sales in Aydın decreased by 42.5 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of the previous year and became 521 thousand. Of these sales, 408 were first sales, and 1113 were second hand sales. In the housing sales, Istanbul had the highest share with 13,666 house sales and 19.4 percent. Aydin # 11 took place while the share of 2.2 per cent in Turkey.
MORTGED SALES DECREASED 75.8 PERCENT
Mortgaged house sales in Aydın decreased by 75.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and became 212. Of the 212 mortgage sales, 50 were first sales and 162 were second hand sales. In Turkey the same period, 10 thousand 732 housing has changed hands in mortgage sales results. Turkey, while 15.2 percent share of mortgage sales in total housing sales in general, this ratio stood at 13.9 per cent for the province of Aydın.
