CHP Bursa Deputy Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özkan, who made a series of visits in Orhangazi together with the CHP Orhangazi district administration last month, responded by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources at the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding the natural gas problem experienced in some regions in Orhangazi.
CHP Bursa Deputy Yüksel Özkan submitted a parliamentary question at the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding the natural gas investments in the district. Yüksel Özkan stated that the company holding the natural gas excavation and distribution license in the district did not invest due to the problem of the pandemic.
INQUIRY PROPOSAL TO THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY
The Armagaz company was issued by EMRA in Yalova, Orhangazi. In the parliamentary question, in which it was reminded that the Karamürsel Distribution License was awarded in 2004, citizens living within the boundaries of the district in Orhangazi and the representatives of industrial facilities operating in the Orhangazi district stated that they could not benefit from the natural gas distributed by Armagaz. In the regions where industrial production is carried out, companies still provide their energy with pressurized gas tankers, which becomes dangerous for the citizens living in their vicinity. Natural gas could not be supplied to many neighborhoods, especially Çakırlı and Yeniköy neighborhoods. The company in question does not make any investment and citizens suffer. For this reason, is it told by the company officials that we cannot invest in natural gas by using the pandemic process as an excuse ?, Is it said by the company officials that we will not be able to deliver natural gas to these regions on the pretext that they do not have sufficient budgets ?, Although the industrial facilities promise the amount of natural gas usage, why the company Why has not natural gas been delivered to Çakırlı and Yeniköy neighborhoods for 3 years?
