Şahinbey Municipality, cited as an example by Erdoğan, gives great support to farmers within the scope of the works initiated for the development of animal husbandry in the district. Şahinbey Municipality makes animal producers breathe by throwing manure on 75 million square meters of pasture area where there is little pasture in the district. Within the scope of the project, which was initiated with the aim of preventing animal problems in food and reducing the financial burden of the farmer, 1 million 500 thousand kilograms of fertilizer started to be brought together with the soil.
1.5 MILLION KILOGRAM FERTILIZER WILL MEET THE SOIL
Şahinbey Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu, who announced that they started working with 1 million 500 thousand kilograms of fertilizer in the 75 million square meter area of 57 villages in the district, said, “Currently, we will bring 1 million 500 thousand kilograms of fertilizer to the soil in the pasture of 57 villages of Şahinbey. With the fertilization of these areas, more productive herbs will be obtained and our livestock will be developed, and our animals will not have any problems in finding feed in the mountains. At the same time, the costs of our farmers in this area will be reduced with the decrease of input costs. As Şahinbey Municipality, we will continue to support our farmers in every field. We should not go hungry in the wolf, bird and animal on the mountain. Hz. Now, we are digging wells, watering, manuring our mountains, “Sprinkle wheat on the mountains so that the birds do not say hungry in the Muslim country.” At the same time, he said that we have done and distributed to our farmers to increase the production by reducing the input costs of our farmers and now we are collecting the fruits. ”

Stating that they will continue to increase their support to farmers, Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu said, “The cultivated area in Şahinbey has increased over 300 percent. Costs have come down, we have supported most of them. Again, we took the promise of at least 2,500 animals to increase livestock. Our goal is to increase the number and presence of animals. All of these efforts are aimed at increasing these and supporting our farmers.
