Seedling planting started in the greenhouse heated by a geothermal heat pump in Erzincan. The seedlings met with the soil in the program organized in the greenhouses established in the Denizdamı Village of Erzincan.
ERZİNCAN (İGFA) – New developments in greenhouse cultivation are being made every day in Erzincan. With the greenhouse cultivation methods developed in Erzincan, producers will be able to produce their products in greenhouses in the winter.
Seedlings met with the soil with the program organized in the greenhouses in the village of Denizdamı in Erzincan. The program was attended by Erzincan Deputy Governor Deputy Enver Yılmaz, Erzincan Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Murat Şahin, Erzincan Chamber of Agriculture President Tamer Geyik, Ador Energy official Orhan Veli Ağbaba, greenhouse owner Salim Toklu and villagers.
Orhan Veli Ağbaba, Ador Enerji representative, said that with the implementation, people in rural areas increased their productivity by spending less of their labor and started buying their products. Drawing attention to the longevity of renewable devices and the importance of recycling, Ağbaba noted that it is a system that pays for itself in 2 to 5 years.
Erzincan Chamber of Agriculture President Tamer Geyik, stating that the country is undergoing a global warming, said, “Greenhouse Mediterranean Common in the region. Here too, tornados, floods and similar events frequently occurred due to this global warming. Of course, in the Greenhouse Cultivation project of our Ministry of Agriculture, we started to attract investments towards here, especially in the Eastern Anatolian Region, especially in Erzincan and Iğdır regions. Of course, our producers, who offer three meals of food to the table of our citizens, strive to meet the food needs of the consumers who produce these products in winter. There is a very good investment here, this system is a very good system, I hope we will achieve successful results here, both our producer and our consumer will win. ”
The Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry stated that greenhouse cultivation is developing day by day in Erzincan. Murat Şahin, on the other hand, said that they reached a level of over 500 decares by the end of 2020 from 90 decares of greenhouses in the target they set 3 years ago. Şahin said, “I hope we will become productive in the winter and our farmer and our farmer will earn 3 times more income.”
After the speeches, the guests planted seedlings by getting information about the system applied by the company authorities.
