Explaining that the demand for private schools decreased after the support that ended in the same year, Pektaş said, “Private schools were also seriously affected negatively during the pandemic period. We demand the revitalization of a new incentive for students studying at private schools. We want the VAT rate, which is applied as 1 percent in education and training services from 1 September 2020 to 30 June 2021, to be extended until the end of the year or to work on it to be permanent. Emphasizing that security and private education courses cannot benefit from support, Ahmet Pektaş said that they want to provide credit support or grants for institutions in this situation.

Explaining his expectations about the press sector, Pektaş said, “There is no protective law or regulation that will include the rights of press members. We are considered in the same status as a normal person in law when the incident is in question in any question. There were too many physical attacks on local press members. When a member of the press physically attacked complains about the other party, no action can be taken, since there is no law protecting the press members. In this sense, we demand the enactment of a protective law or regulation in which we will also have our rights. ”

As it is known, the official announcement is only applied in print media. It should not be forgotten that it is a press organization in radios, which has been one of the indispensable communication channels since 1927.
