Denizli City Council hosted the Turkish Red Crescent online

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Council hosted Turkish Red Crescent Denizli Branch Head Adem Salih Deniz in the online program “We Are Talking about Civil Society”.

DENİZLİ (İGFA) – Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Programs organized online by the City Council continue. Adem Salih Deniz, Head of the Turkish Red Crescent Denizli Branch, was the guest of the talk where the works of non-governmental organizations in Denizli were discussed with the program “We Are Talking about Civil Society”. City Council President Ali Değirmenci, Turkish Red Crescent Denizli Branch President Adem Salih Deniz and guests attended the program. Stating that the COVID-19 epidemic, which affected the whole world, transformed and changed the way organizations and non-governmental organizations work, City Council President Değirmenci pointed out that the activities of the City Council are carried out online.

Stating that the Turkish Red Crescent has a long history and a successful past, Denizli Branch President Adem Salih Deniz stated that they have provided very important services in healing the wounds in the recent Acıpayam and Bozkurt earthquakes. Explaining the aid mobilization as Turkish Red Crescent Denizli Branch along with the pandemic process, Mayor Deniz said, “As the Red Crescent family, we continued these activities without interruption. We did not encounter any negativity in our studies due to coronavirus. We provided in-kind and cash aid to nearly 6 thousand citizens. ”

During the pandemic process, every institution, organization, non-governmental organizations, albeit individually. Noting that they are trying to do something, City Council President Ali Değirmenci stated that Denizli is in a good position now with the measures taken, and said, “We will comply with the measures and fulfill our duties until our goal is no incident.”
