Bursa Uludag University (buuu), TUBITAK 2244 Industrial PhD Program, one of Turkey’s most important furniture companies in the framework of the cooperation protocol signed with strawberry Furniture.
BURSA (IGF A) – TUBITAK Bursa Uludağ University and the business world continue to receive support for the 2244 Industry Doctorate Program, which was initiated in 2018 in order to encourage the employment of more researchers in the private sector. Turkey buuu previous year in the number of doctoral students who obtained the 1 st, continues to work in order to get first place again cooperation. The university administration had finally Bursa and Turkey’s leading furniture manufacturer in agreement with Strawberry Furniture. BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Guide and Çilek Mobilya A.Ş. With the protocol signed between Deputy General Manager Murat Bulca, 3 doctoral students will take part in scientific projects at the R&D and Design Center within the company. Students, who will receive a monthly salary of 4 thousand 500 TL, will be able to continue to work in the company for 3 years after their doctorate.

Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony, BUU Rector Prof . Dr. Ahmet Saim Guide, they are located within 3 years of the project and noted that Turkey reached first place in the number of PhD students. Turkey’s development and progress in terms of industrial transfer in 2244 they gave a great importance to the PhD Program Professor Dr. Ahmet Saim Guide; “The project was supported by our companies as well as our universities. We have signed many collaborations. Today, we are signing a cooperation protocol with Çilek Furniture, one of the important companies of our country. FIRST PROJECT WITH BURSA ULUDAĞ
Çilek Mobilya A.Ş. Deputy General Manager Murat Bulca underlined that as a company, they attach great importance to university-industry cooperation. Noting that they established the R&D Center in 2015 and the Design Center in 2016, Deputy General Manager Murat Bulca; “The first R & D and Design Center in Turkey we were firm. New companies followed this path after us. We took care to make state-sponsored projects in our centers. We did this to increase the development and project quality of our own team. We definitely cooperated with universities in this regard. It will be our first cooperation project with Bursa Uludağ University ”.
