MARDİN (İGFA) – Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection Control Department In order to put an end to tanker irrigation, which poses a great danger in terms of traffic, the Presidency establishes an automatic irrigation system in Artuklu-Kabbala, Artuklu-Diyarbakır and Artuklu-Kızıltepe central refuges.
Head of Environmental Protection Control Department Cebrail Aslan stated that the automatic irrigation tender was made one month ago and they started the works. Aslan stated that they will switch to automatic irrigation in Artuklu-Kabbalah, Artuklu-Diyarbakır and Artuklu-Kızıltepe central refuges from now on and that the works are continuing intensively. Stating that they will continue to irrigate with their own means within the scope of the works that are aimed to be completed within 10 days, Aslan said that the irrigation works will be completely automatic.
Stating that they will eliminate a great danger in this way, Aslan said, “Tankers were a great danger in terms of traffic and we will make irrigation without the risk of accident by eliminating this. “Last year, the middle medians were irrigated at high cost, and this year we will do it at a very low cost and we will not change this system again.”
