{3 } MALATYA (İGFA) – MESOB President Şevket Keskin made a written statement, and Ahi Evran, the pioneer of the Ahi culture, who played a major role in making Anatolia the homeland, the establishment of the Ottoman Empire and becoming a world state, and who heartily embraced the establishment of the Republic. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared 2021 as the “Ahi Evran Year” in order to better understand and pass on the Ahi culture to the next generations.
Stating that the Ahi culture requires being national and indigenous, Keskin said, “Our tradesmen and craftsmen are the most victims of the pandemic process. For this reason, we expect support from our citizens and all segments of the society, and I invite everyone to shop from the neighborhood grocery store and neighborhood tradesmen. If everybody does a shop in their own neighborhood, your money will stay in Malatya. If you shop in 3-letter grocery stores and other chain stores, your money will go abroad and the garbage will stay in this city. ”
