ARDAHAN (İGFA) – Ardahan, where the snowfall lost its effect, was affected by the cold weather. According to the measurements made, the coldest settlement in the province was Göle district with 25.5 degrees below zero. Thermometers showed 24.8 degrees in Hanak, 24.1 degrees in Damal, 23.6 degrees in Çıldır, 16 degrees in Posof, below zero. The lowest temperature measured in Ardahan city center was 18.8 degrees below zero. With the effect of the cold weather, the surface of the Kura River, which flows through Ardahan city center and flows into the Caspian Sea through Georgia and Azerbaijan, was again covered with ice.
