The painting and poetry contest titled “Democracy Martyr Adnan Menderes”, organized by Koçarlı Municipality in cooperation with Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADÜ) and Koçarlı District National Education Directorate, is counting the days for the award ceremony. In this context, Koçarlı Mayor Nedim Kaplan, who visited Aydın Governor Hüseyin Aksoy in his office, made a presentation to the Governor Aksoy with the winning works. During the visit, Mayor Kaplan exchanged views with Governor Aksoy about the award ceremony, which was postponed due to the pandemic process, and thanked the ranking names again.
After the evaluations, Keziban Nur Şimşek came first in the poetry category with her poem “Vaveyla”, while Emine Fida Rüzgar won the first place in the painting category. The award ceremony, postponed within the scope of pandemic measures, is expected to be held in the following days.
